First Monday Trade Days

First Monday Trade Days is the World's Largest Flea Market, at least according to the website. Founded when the Justice of the Peace would only come to town (and hold court) once per month, it was a time for everybody to come to town. Now, if you go on First Monday, everything will be closed down, because the actual sale starts on Thursday and runs through Sunday. 

We went so long ago, we don't have photos. Virginia still has the trauma of seeing puppies for sale. (Adopt, don't shop!)
