The Texas Crab Festival is on the Bolivar Penisula, which is one of the gateways to Galveston, if you like taking the Galveston Bolivar ferry. (Actually, the ferry should have its own page.)
We went to the Crab Festival in 2017 - it's on Mothers' Day each year. We wanted to try the crab but actually we wanted to see the daschund races. I'm not sure what daschunds have to do with crabs but it was a fun race.
