There were two key points of interest - although the city square was very interesting - but the reasons to go to Paris are to see the second tallest Eiffel Tower in the world and to see Jesus in Cowboy Boots.
The second highest Eiffel Tower tragically dropped to third when another Paris (I think in Tennessee) built an Eiffel Tower that was taller than the Texas one (the bastards!), so Paris, Texas added a Stetson Hat and it's the second tallest again.
Jesus in Cowboy Boots is a memorial on a grave in the cemetery (RIP Willet Babcock) - it is Jesus carrying the Cross, but under his robes are cowboy boots. So, Our Lord was a Texan at heart.
